Job Title: Assistant Manager – Operations
Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Operations supports the Operations Manager in overseeing daily business activities, ensuring smooth workflow, improving operational systems, and maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising staff, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing day-to-day operational activities.
Supervise, train, and support operational staff.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports.
Coordinate with different departments to streamline processes.
Handle customer service issues and resolve escalated concerns.
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
Identify areas for operational improvement and recommend solutions.
Support inventory management and vendor coordination (if applicable).
Step in for the Operations Manager when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in operations or supervisory roles.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and operational management software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
