Warehouse Trainee — Role & Responsibilities
A Warehouse Trainee supports daily warehouse operations while learning proper procedures for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming goods.
- Check quantities, labels, and product condition.
- Store materials in the correct locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods.
- Update stock records and inventory systems.
- Conduct stock counting and report discrepancies.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Follow safety procedures and company policies.
- Assist supervisors and experienced warehouse staff.
- Handle basic warehouse equipment safely after training.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the supervisor.
- Loading and Unloading the inward and outward.
